Managing up is:
Being a valuable asset to your boss
Executing quickly and being on top of things your boss may need
Thinking as if you are a few levels up in the organization
Managing up is not:
Brown noising
Hanging out with the boss
Trying to get noticed by everyone
I think about managing up in 3 main ways:
Anticipation of what your boss needs
Thinking as if you are 2 levels up in the organization
Helping your boss and team to shine
